M & R Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is a market leader in designing moulds, and fabricating spring plate clamps, window clamps, and all types of precision tools. Incorporated in 1991, the company is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of trims and forms for the semiconductor industry.

The company designs and fabricates down set tools as well as tapping tools for lead frame industries. In addition, the company fabricates tools and dies, jig and fixtures, mould cavities, window clamps and top plates and all types of precision engineering for the semiconductor industry.

M & R Manufacturing produces precision engineering products for high-precision electronics, semiconductor and lead frame industries. We have been working with the Semiconductor company for more then 15 years and we have gained a lot of experience and exposure pertaining this industry. Our product range includes top plates, window clamps, insert cutting plates, insert guide plates, gate inserts, glue nozzles, spring plate clamps, singulation punches and lifting inserts. The company also manufactures jigs and fixtures for a variety of applications.

WINDOW CLAMPS

The company manufactures a wide range of window clamps various brand wire bonder such as ASM, ESEC, KAIJO, KNS, etc. M & R Manufacturing uses computer-aided process systems for manufacturing window clamps used in the semiconductor industries.

The company specialises in producing spring plate type window clamps, proven useful for the following products: TQFP, SOT 23, SC 70, MSOP, SOIC, TO 220, etc.

CARBIDE MATERIAL AND CARBIDE FINISH POLISHING

M & R have many years' experience of working with carbide materials, supplying to the semiconductor industry overseas and in local markets. We are proud to have won at the 34th International Youth Skill Olympics 1997 in St. Gallen, Switzerland, a competition for young people to achieve excellence in press tool manufacturing. Because our expertise ranges from the creating first prototype designs to mass production machining of complex and intricate components from a wide range of materials, we are also able to offer carbide finish polishing for forming tools.

M&R work to develop manufacturing processes for machining and finishing at greater precision than any other commercial alternatives. This commitment to precision not only includes our QA laboratory, but also on everyday products; our precision manufacturing produces machines, parts, and materials of a higher quality and lower cost than was previously possible. M&R has undergone the preliminary diagnostic audit under the Expert Dispatch Programme for the mould and die undustry, organized by JETRO in collaboration with SMIDEC on 2005, by Takahito Kawada.
