It maintains strict quality control in all of its processes that include mould design and development, plastic injection moulding, silk screening, pad printing, spray painting, hot stamping, etc.

Mould Design And Construction
A good mould design can establish the mould maker in the market. Hence Unipipes gives highest priority to mould designing. Mould designing is done as per customers’ specifications by highly skilled designers and programmers using sophisticated CAD/CAM software. The moulds are constructed to the highest degree of accuracy using CNC and conventional wire-cut, milling, EDM, and other machines. The “Mould Design and Construction” section equipped with the most advanced machinery in the world and the moulds are developed using highest quality raw materials under strict quality control supervision.

Plastic Injection Moulding
Unipipes takes up injection moulding of wide variety of plastic components that caters to different industries. The plastic injection moulding section is equipped with a total of 44 units with capacities ranging from 20 to 850 tons. Unipipes’ plastic injection moulding section can produce a wide range of plastic components from audio-video components, hi-fi and multimedia speakers, telecommunications, home appliances, to high precision IT hardware, engineering hardware, and special purpose equipment.

Secondary Processes – Cosmetic Finishing
After moulding operations provide visual appeal and aesthetic look to the injection moulded components. Such operations also called as secondary operations include silk screening, pad printing, spray painting, hot roll and hot stamping. Specialized paints, inks and foils for cosmetic finishing are being used to achieve high quality finishes and special effects under the skilled and trained staff and technical team who ensure that quality and all requirements are met.

Assembly Lines
Unipipes uses the assembly lines for assembly and packing of finished and semi-finished goods. Ultrasonic welding, high frequency induction, heat insertion, heat stacking and sealing machines and 5 conveyor lines are used to handle a diversified range of products with provisions to meet future demands in a comfortable setting.

Quality Assurance
One of the most important departments in Unipipes, the quality assurance department is responsible for the quality of each product that goes out of the company. It uses stringent AQL sampling, measuring, and inspections to ensure the quality of the products at each stage of production. This department is also responsible for the QMS enforced in the company.
