Based in Taiwan, Phon Tech is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), mainly styrenic block copolymer compounds (SEBS) that are marketed under the brand name PHOENIX®. The company supplies thermoplastic elastomers, also known as thermoplastic rubbers to the worldwide market. Thermoplastic Elastomers:

Thermoplastic elastomers are flexible and high molecular materials that exhibit features of vulcanized rubber at normal temperature and plastics when heated. They can always be heated and reformed. This property of thermoplastic elastomers helps in easy processing, designing and recycling. Thermoplastic elastomers do not need the process of vulcanization, hence, save energy, reduce cycle time, and enhance production efficiency. Standard plastic processing methods such as injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion can be applied to thermoplastic elastomers. They are non toxic, environmental friendly and lightweight. Thermoplastic elastomers retain good product quality and dimensional consistency. Available in various colours, thermoplastic elastomers provide versatile and aesthetic design for your products.

Thermoplastic Rubbers

Thermoplastic elastomers are also knowned as thermoplastic rubbers. They contain SIS, SBS, SEBS or SEPS compounds. These material are non toxic, environmental friendly and lightweight. Available in various colours thermoplastic rubbers ensure good product quality and dimensional consistency.

SEBS Compounds

Thermoplastic elastomer compounds produced by Phon Tech are mainly hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer compounds (SEBS). They are marketed under the trade name of PHOENIX®. SEBS compounds are produced in the form of pellets through an underwater pelletizer system. These products comply with the RoHS and FDA requirements. SEBS compounds can be easily processed and coloured. They have a soft touch, light weight, and are weather and ozone resistant. The outstanding properties of SEBS compounds make them viable for many production applications such as medical appliances, food/beverage closures & containers, non-slip surfaces, footwear…etc.

TPE/TPR Compounds

TPE/TPR compounds have high elasticity and are used in various applications. TPE/TPR compounds are processible through injection molding, blow molding and extrusion. Approved by FDA, TPE/TPR compounds are non toxic and feature anti slip properties. TPE/TPR compounds are 100% recyclable and environmental friendly. Advantages over synthetic rubber such as recyclability, greater ease of processing and design flexibility are likely to ensure the continued penetration of TPE/TPR compounds in various applications.
