Dinamec boosting plastic removal capabilities through Schwing Fluid

26 March 2015

Dinamec Systems LLC of Acworth, Ga., is boosting its plastic removal and paint stripping capabilities through an exclusive North American distribution agreement with Schwing Fluid Technik GmbH of Neukirchen-Vluyn of Germany.

The companies will exhibit at Booth S14063 at NPE 2015 in Orlando, Fla.

Dinamec provides gas-heated fluidized sand beds for removing organic substances from most metal alloys. The deal with Schwing will allow Dinamec to expand its ability to provide advanced thermal cleaning technologies for the removal of polymers, paint and organic contaminations from metal tools and machine parts.

Schwing designs and makes electric heated fluidized bed systems as well as vacuum furnaces for thermal cleaning processes for the plastics and fiber industries. The company has been a participant in previous NPE shows.

The combination, according to Robert Lasky, Dinamec’s sales manager for plastics and fiber, will give clients more options for cleaning expensive metal parts, including extrusion dies.

“For bags and film, dies are quite unique and expensive and they are growing more and more expensive, so it is hard to pull them offline for a long time,” Lasky said. So Dinamec offers a variety of cleaning solutions, including pyrolysis, thermal decomposition under vacuum conditions or thermal conversion in a fluidized bed.

Dianamec has been manufacturing fluid cleaning parts since 1995. In 2013 it acquired the fluidized bed tool cleaning division of Keppel Seghers Inc.
