Introduction:

Inteplast Group plans to add new manufacturing capacity to its AmTopp Stretch Film Division at its plants in Charlotte, North Carolina and Phoenix, Arizona.

Features:

AmTopp is investing $15 Million on two new, state-of-the-art, cast extrusion lines, to be fully operational by the end of 2015. This expansion will add an additional 60 million pounds of capacity and increase the overall AmTopp's capacity to 320 million pounds.

The first extrusion line, scheduled for Charlotte, will be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2015, company officials reported. In addition to providing an increased production base for AmTopp films, it will support specifically the dramatic growth of the popular "APEX" series of films. The second of the two new lines will be installed in Phoenix two months later.

AmTopp's stretch films include a variety of conventional and highly-engineered hand and machine films led by its "Loadstar" series.
