Aurora Plastics Announces Acquisition of S&E Specialty Polymers

Aurora Plastics, LLC, a leader in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds, announced today the acquisition of compounder S&E Specialty Polymers of Lunenburg, Massachusetts. The move marks Aurora Plastics’ second acquisition this year and represents the company’s initial expansion into thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) and further expansion into the company’s flexible PVC capabilities. S&E builds on Aurora Plastics’ ongoing commitment to offering the highest quality PVC products in the industry, backed by the best customer service.

  • Rigid cellular PVC (Auroralite™)

  • Clear rigid and flexible PVC

  • PVC/acrylic pellets (AuroraShield™)

  • Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE)

  • Custom thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO)

  • Low-smoke zero-halogen compounds (LSOH)

  • Styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) and styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS) block co-polymers

  • Plastic concentrates

  • Purge compounds

The acquisition of S&E Specialty Polymers further expands Aurora Plastics’ supply chain and manufacturing footprint across the United States and Canada, allowing more efficient support for customers. Aurora Plastics’ four PVC compound production facilities are located in Streetsboro, Ohio; Welcome, North Carolina; Marieville, Quebec; and Lunenburg, Massachusetts. Lunenburg will also produce CPE, TPO, plastic concentrates and LSOH compounds.
