K.D. Feddersen, specialist in engineering plastics, machines for plastics processing and education, strengthens its market position in the Nordic and Baltic countries machinery sector with the acquisition of Forvema AB.

Forvema AB based in Kinna, Västra Götaland County, has 30 years of experience in sales of injection moulding machines and presses for rubber and is an exclusive partner of brands like Sumitomo-Demag and Desma.

“With the acquisition of Forvema we now have the opportunity to offer a broad portfolio of injection moulding machines and auxiliaries”, says Torbjörn Egerhag, General Manager of K.D. Feddersen Norden AB. “The combination of Sumitomo-Demag machines and Piovan auxiliaries allows us to supply a very high technical level to our customers and thus to generate an additional value. Our ambition is to be the full service partner for engineering plastics and plastics processing machineries for our customers in the Nordic and Baltic countries. This is another step on our way to increase our market share in the whole region”. The acquisition was confirmed on 8th of April.
