Weener Plastics relocates headquarters and implements new corporate identity

Weener Plastics is implementing a new corporate identity, relocating its headquarters besides executing several name changes, as part of its efforts to bolster its position as supplier of plastic packaging solutions.

Weener Plastics CEO Roel Zeevat said: "Today, WPPG is a market-leading global plastic packaging company offering innovative packaging to our customers from 24 operations in 16 countries.

"The clear positioning and name change better reflect our company's current structure and increasingly diverse and widespread global activities."

In the first quarter of this fiscal, it is introducing a new 'Clear & Clean' corporate identity is all its communications and at facilities around the world.

The company stated that the unified company name and logo will better represent its identity and direction and create clarity, alignment and uniform market positioning.

It is relocating its corporate headquarters from Weener, Germany to Ede, the Netherlands.

This location is less than 100km from Amsterdam Airport and helps build its international business.

The company's corporate as well as supporting services will be centralized and managed from the new location.

Also, it is renaming Plasticum facilities as 'Weener Plastics' - Plasticum Netherlands BV has become Weener Plastics Netherlands BV; Plasticum Norwich Ltd has been renamed Weener Plastics Norwich Ltd; and Plasticum Ilkenhans GmbH has been named Weener Plastik Ilkenhans GmbH.

Zeevat added: "We look to the future with great confidence and are proud of our identity .

"The core of our strategy remains unaltered. Weener Group will continue to develop innovative products and processes, maintaining a global presence whilst offering a customer oriented approach and consistently reliable service."
