Plastrade Group of Companies (Plastrade) is Malaysian based enterprise primarily involved in trading, manufacturing, and distributing of plastic raw materials for different industries including wire & cable industry and plastic industry. The group consists of several companies (as listed below) involved in manufacturing and distributing of resin compounds including polyethelene compounds, dry blends, masterbatches, and polymer additives.

Plastrade uses the polymer compounding technology to develop and produce a wide range of resin compounds like polyethylene compounds, masterbatches, dry blends and polymer additives that cater to wire & cable industry and plastic industry. Plastrade takes advantage of in-house research and development to innovate and develop new resin compounds and masterbatches to suit customer requirements as wells as to improve existing products in pursuit to meet the international standards. MHT MANUFACTURING SDN BHD - RESIN COMPOUNDS FOR WIRE AND CABLE

Incorporated on 21 December 1994, the company principally manufactures resin compounds which include polyethylene compounds for wire & cable industry and telecommunication industry. It manufactures polyethylene compounds for cable insulation in medium voltage applications. These compounds include insulation and jacketing compounds, mineral filled halogen free flame retardant compound( HFFR), crosslink halogen free flame retardant compound (XL-HFFR), medium voltage crosslinkable polyethylene compound up to 35KV(MV XLPE). Polyethylene compound for insulation and jacketing, and medium voltage XLPE are marketed under Plexlene brand while HFFR and XL-HFFR compounds are marketed under Plexlon brand.

PLASCABLE POLYMER SDN BHD - SEMI CONDUCTIVE COMPOUNDS, MASTERBATCHES, AND POLYMER ADDITIVES

Incorporated on 18th July 1988, the company produces resin compounds like semi conductive compounds, masterbatches, and polymer additives for wire and cable industry. Semi conductive compounds are both bonded and strippable for medium voltage power cables. Masterbatches are produced with good ageing ESCR properties which include anti-termite masterbatches, and masterbatches for plastic industries. While semi conductive compounds are produced under Plexcon brand, masterbatches are produced under Prolene brand.

Incorporated on 18th October 1993, the company manufactures resin compounds which includes crosslinkable polyethylene compounds (XLPE) for low voltage power cables and composite pipes. Crosslinkable polyethylene compound is marketed under Plexlink brand with two categories of compound which is ambient cured and hot water/steam cured.

PLASCOLOUR COMPOUND SDN BHD - MASTERBATCHES, TAILOR-MADE PIGMENTS AND DRY BLENDS

Incorporatied on 13th December 1993, this company specializes in colour resin compounds, masterbatches, tailor-made pigments, and dry blend for moulders. Dry blends are economical than moulding powders and pellets and hence has great demand. The company offers tailor-made dry blends as per customer requirements.
