Veekay Polycoats Limited began commercial activities in 1992 with a clear objective: to serve the industry with better products and exceptional services. This, compounded with hard work and dedication put in by our dedicated staff and talented managerial cadre, has resulted in phenomenal growth over the years. The company began its activities as a manufacturer of PVC films, PVC sheets and PVC floorings by setting up its own factory. Subsequently, it has set up another plant near the existing factory for manufacturing of PVC leather, PVC sheetings and PP spunbonded nonwoven fabrics. The new plant has increased the production capacity significantly to meet the ever-growing demand for our products.

PVC LEATHER CLOTH

The PVC synthetic leather is fast replacing natural leather all over the world due to its distinct property such as greater durability, broad plasticity range, excellent resistance to sunlight and degradation, greater washability, water-vapour permeability, weather resistance, printability and competitive prices, etc. besides being eco-friendly as it replaces natural leather. It looks like natural leather, gives excellent feel, is porous and can be supplied in patent finish, glittering gold and silver finish.

It can be made repellent and impermeable to water, but open to moisture such as sweat. It is breathable, which makes it ideal for wind sheeters, garments and sports-wear. Its application for garments and shoes have increased considerably in the recent past. It has been accepted in European and American markets as an ideal substitute for leather. Presently, countries like Taiwan and South Korea are the major suppliers of PVC leather, cloth and films to European and American markets for applications such as shoe-uppers, car upholstery, car door panels, special chemical leather for window glass cleaning, sports shoes, sports goods such as hand gloves, cricket leg-guards, footballs, volley ball sticks, complimentary gift items, etc.

A good quality PVC hard material along with lining material is ideal for high valued briefcases, menu card covers, diary covers, address book covers, small office purses etc. The hard leather-like surface material with non-frying poly-coat fabric as backing material, can also be used for manufacturing belts. A special high thickness material along with thermo-sensitive resin and pigments can make good jeans pants, which can withstand harsh washing and ironing.

PVC FILMS / SHEETINGS

With the experience of the first unit, Veekay Plastics has set up a calendaring unit for manufacturing of PVC films and sheetings, which are widely used in developed countries. The usage of PVC films / sheetings is also increasing in developing countries also. PVC films and sheeting find uses in packaging, baby garments, floor blister, stationery goods, bottle coverts, bags, bed sheets, wind sheeter, rain wear, diary covers, purses, key covers, file folders, etc.

PP SPUNBONDED NONWOVEN

We specialise in producing various grades PP spunbonded nonwoven fabric with variety of colours and specifications from 10g/mē to 150g/mē. With a width of 1.6m the PP fabric has the advantage of good uniformity, excellent soft hand feeling and high tense strength. Our products are extensively used for packaging agricultural supplies, auto covers, interlining, etc.

PVC FLOORING

Deco Floor PVC flooring or Vinyl flooring is one of our premium products. It is a heavy duty, flexible flooring for homogenous and heterogeneous construction with properties of high wear and tear resistance and resilience is produced as per Indian standard IS: 3462 / 1986 and RDSO-C-8515 as well as international standards BS: 2025 / 1978. It is available in different qualities and properties as per their applications like anti-static, anti-skid, anti-acidic, printed vinyl and jute backed flooring.
