Goplasticpallets redesigns GoBox container to meet food sector norms

3 July 2015

UK-based plastic pallets supplier Goplasticpallets.com, an arm of All Pallets, has upgraded its colored bulk storage container GoBox 1210 BBC Blue, to conform to hygiene standards mandated for the food processing sector.

The container, derived from virgin HDPE, flaunts larger radii in the structure and lesser open sections, devoid of any acute angles, enabling easier cleaning.

Sporting additional ribs at the corner, a raised ground clearance facilitates its entry and exit through runners with forklifts.

Goplasticpallets.com managing director Jim Hardisty said: "This really is the next generation of bulk storage container and we're delighted to be the only supplier in the UK to stock it in this bright blue colour, which is ideal for the food industry as it stands out in processing areas."

Capable of storing fats and oils as well as handling fruits, vegetables and meat, the GoBox 1210 BBC Blue has a dimension specification of 1200mm x 1000mm x 760mm, and it is available with options for three runners.

Besides, there is provision for adding RFID chips at the middle of the container in order to track and trace its whereabouts. The water-resistant chips can also be programmed to suit a particular set of requirements.
