Established in 1996, the I-Zest Group first began as manufacturers of plastic injection moulds and die casting moulds.


Through a decade of acquired knowledge and hands on experience, coupled with a constant eye for innovation, in 2006, I-Zest was able to successfully extend its services to provide custom injection molding to cater to a wider scope of customers in various industries, including automotive, electronics, medical and telecommunication industries.


Today, I-Zest is the proud owner of two manufacturing plants, each respectively designated for metal mould making and plastic injection molding. The Group has also earned a reputable name for itself through numerous successful collaborations with a string of local and internationally renowned customers, such as Motorola, Benchmark, Bosch, Blaupunkt, Laird Technologies, Silitech Technology, Escatec, Nissei Technology, TRW; transforming ideas and designs into functional and aesthetically perfect finished products.

Plastic Injection Mould Making

All moulds are designed and built by expert mould technician who use CAD/CAM software, as well as CNC and EDM equipment. Our extreme attention to detail ensures that the plastic injection moulds and our custom injection molding satisfy the needs of consumers of our products. Typically we use P20 or H13 hardened tool steel for the core and cavity of the tool.


Occasionally, if a product has low anticipated quantities, or customer places a request for prototype tool, we ensure we do our best to fix that. Plastic Injection Molding


The plastics molding facility is supported by a team of experienced technicians and dedicated operators who run equipment ranging from 20 tons to 220 tons of clamping pressure.


  • Plastic injection molding: 19 machines ranging from 20 to 460 ton clamping force.
  • Custom Colors
  • Insert molding: Allowed other components (e.g. metal parts, molded cables and encapsulated circuit boards) to be completely integrated into the plastic molded part.
  • Over molding: Two different component materials and integrates them into a single part, for example power drill, where TPE material is molded onto a rigid handle.

Mould Flow Analysis

Plastic flow simulation in 3D is used to detect part war page, sink mark, fill time, pressure and other useful information before building the mold. Mould-Flow Plastic Insight software is a specially developed analysis software that enables a plastic flow simulation in 3D.


Besides giving the customers a realistic perspective on the overall mould design, it also acts as a means to detect:


  • Part deflection in X,Y & Z direction
  • Weld line
  • Sink marks
  • Fill time
  • Injection Pressure
  • Filling condition for 2K Over-molding
  • Filling condition between metal and plastic over-molding
  • Material fiber orientation
  • Shear rate
