3. What is your opinion on the recent developments of the Plastics Industry influencing the global market?

Pollution is a major problem globally. Unfortunately, unrecycled plastic is adding up to this problem. One solution to that is biodegradable packaging and this concept needs a little push from the government regulations. Otherwise, when left alone the food producers do not seem to be willing to use this kind of packaging. However, biodegradability can be achieved by adding an additive to the raw material mix very easily and the end price does not get affected too much by this. So if the governments set up regulations and start educating people about this, biodegradable packages will be produced everywhere and the plastic waste will be safely biodegraded in landfill dump sites.

4. Plastmore exports to over 35 different Nations.Does the company see a substantial increase in the export market in the future?

Yes, we do although the political situation in the Middle East (Turkey’s traditional export market) is not stable these days. We see opportunities in Americas and in South East Asia.

5. Are there any new products that Plastmore plans on launching in the coming future?

Plastmore has over 30 years of production experience. With its own R&D laboratory, mold workshop and latest technology production line, the company can respond to many different customer needs. With a flexible production structure, the company makes sure customers are always one step ahead in market conditions that rely on competition. As a result, we develop new packages every year.

By developing customized solutions for our customers we are planning to grow with them. And we are planning to expand our presence in the export market.
