Austrian Shengde High Performance Materials Co., Ltd. acquires Britannia Techno Polymer

Ascend Performance Materials, the world's largest fully integrated manufacturer of nylon 6,6 resin, today announced the acquisition of engineering plastics in the Netherlands Composite manufacturer Britannia Techno Polymer (BTP). The acquisition gives ASL a leading European engineering plastics manufacturing base and expands its growing portfolio of proprietary compounds.

BTP was founded in 2006 by Andrew Leigh. The company is an engineering thermoplastic composite manufacturing and outsourcing manufacturing company specializing in the production of proprietary nylon compounds, with multiple certifications including ISO 9001 and TS 16949.
