The $4 million investment has increased the factory’s manufacturing footprint and site capabilities by 25,000-square-feet, with the addition of high-precision injection molding machines, sub-assembly equipment and warehouse space.

The expansion also features the addition of a new product development laboratory equipped with advanced computer aided-design, 3D-printing and other equipment aimed to improve product development cycle performance and provide customers with rapid development of custom-design solutions.  

The 80,000 square foot consolidated manufacturing facility and optimized floor layout provides improved operations flow, manufacturing efficiencies and safety for employees.  The expansion demonstrates DS Smith Plastics determination to offer customers unrivalled new product development, service level and quality.
