RYAM Elects Bryan D. Yokley to the Board of Directors

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. has announced the election of Bryan D. Yokley to its Board of Directors, effective from October 1, 2023.

Lisa M. Palumbo, Non-Executive Chair of the Company's Board of Directors, expressed her pleasure at Bryan's appointment, stating, “We are pleased to welcome Bryan to our Board of Directors and look forward to the benefit of his insight, experience, and expertise." She further highlighted Bryan's extensive background, spanning over 38 years, encompassing diverse sectors and international experience in areas such as risk management, cyber security, technology, P&L management, M&A, audit, and governance. His wealth of knowledge is expected to bring substantial value to the Board and the Company's stockholders.

Bryan Yokley retired from EY (Ernst & Young) in June 2022 after a distinguished career of 34 years with the firm. During his tenure, he served in various capacities, including as an Audit Partner in multiple locations, such as Georgia, New York, Australia, Sweden, California, and North Carolina. Additionally, he held positions on EY's governing board for two terms and served as the market leader for Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, as well as the Central Region Cyber leader. In recognition of his contributions, he received EY's highest award, the Global Chairman's Value Award, which acknowledges attributes like integrity, inclusive leadership, commitment to EY's values, and the nurturing of future leaders (2011).

Furthermore, Bryan Yokley has an extensive background outside of his professional roles. He completed a two-year fellowship with the Financial Accounting Standards Board in Connecticut and served as the Chief Financial Officer of World Access, Inc. He holds the certification of a certified public accountant and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Alabama.

Beyond his business endeavors, Bryan Yokley is deeply involved in corporate responsibility and community engagement efforts. He has served on various not-for-profit boards, including Zoo Atlanta and Boys and Girls Club of America. Currently, he is a member of the President's Cabinet for the University of Alabama and sits on the Board of Visitors for the University of Alabama's Business school.
