Celanese Corporation, a global specialty materials and chemical company, will showcase its broad engineered materials product portfolio and solutions at Chinaplas 2024 taking place April 23-26 in Shanghai at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Celanese will display the following innovations in Hall 7.2, Booth #C51:

• Circular Economy: We are focused on expanding our differentiated chemistries and specialty materials that help our customers to lower the carbon footprint of their products and move toward a circular economy. Our sustainable solutions put on display will include ECO-B (bio content), ECO-R (recycled content) and the expanded ECO-C (carbon capture). We will also demonstrate our efforts that make reliable, cost-effective clean energy a reality, including electrolyzer in hydrogen production, lithium-ion battery for electric vehicles (EVs) and 3C, battery energy storage systems and other solar, ocean and wind energy applications.
• Advanced Mobility: We are addressing the latest trends for EVs on safety, range, charging time and sustainability by developing proven solutions to improve battery performance, mitigate thermal propagation, reduce weight of battery housings and other components and improve thermal management. We are also investing in future markets for fuel cell vehicles, improving the tank liner, and fuel stack performance.
• Better, Healthier Lifestyles : Our new innovative NEOLAST™ fiber offers the apparel industry a high-performing alternative to elastane and represents a critical first step for the industry to address the challenge of recycling blended fabrics containing elastane. We will also showcase a broad product portfolio of engineered materials that enable smarter, safer and more efficient solutions for appliances, personal care, footwear and medical devices.
• Future Connectivity: Our solutions help connect the world. From stable and high-speed connections for the network of artificial intelligence/machine learning and advanced wireless infrastructure, to consumer electronics requiring lightweight, miniaturization, design freedom and sustainability, to advanced electrical components addressing complex industrial challenges, we will showcase our ideas and differentiated offerings for the next generation of devices, parts and components.
