Introduction:

Borealis is spending over €100 million to increase the production of Daploy™ HMS PP at its factory in Burghausen, Germany.

Features:

The new production line at Burghausen will triple Borealis’ capacity for Daploy HMS PP, meeting the growing global demand for recyclable, high-performance foam solutions.

Daploy HMS PP supports lightweighting and material efficiency, helping to cut both costs and CO2 emissions across multiple industries.

The material is ideal for use in reusable packaging, automotive components, and building insulation, offering durability, recyclability, and compliance with EU packaging regulations.

The expansion is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2026 and reinforces Borealis’ commitment to sustainable innovation.
