Introduction

Innova Engineered Plastics, a manufacturer of heavy-gauge plastic enclosures and single-use components for medical devices and other highly regulated industries, has acquired key manufacturing assets from ATMEX in Mexicali, Mexico. The acquisition strengthens Innova’s production capabilities and supports its expansion across critical industries.

Features

The asset purchase includes nine injection moulding machines with capacities ranging from 650 to 2,500 tons. Innova has also added approximately 93,000 square feet of production space in Mexicali. Together, the new equipment and expanded facility increase the company’s production capacity and large-component moulding capabilities.

The expansion provides greater flexibility to meet growing demand for engineered heavy-gauge plastic enclosure solutions across medical devices and life sciences, aerospace and defence, diagnostic and laboratory equipment, autonomous robotics, data centres and AI, and other highly regulated industries.
