Plastic products manufacturer McNeely Plastics invested $6.5 million to expand operations at its facility in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.

The company is located in an existing 59,000-square-foot, county-owned facility in the Copiah County Industrial Park. The facility was previously occupied by furniture manufacturer MMI. McNeely Plastics, which also has a location in Clinton employing 100 Mississippians, plans to add 25 associates at its Hazlehurst Plant.

Mississippi Development Authority provided loan assistance in support of the project to purchase and renovate the building. Copiah County also assisted with the project.
