Introduction:

American RENOLIT Corporation (ARC) plan to invest in a New Calender Line that will extend the capacity of its production plant in La Porte, Indiana.

Features:

The work will take place by the end of 2017, with major equipment components being shipped from suppliers during the first half of next year. The core equipment – the calender line – is planned to be delivered mid-2018.

The investment in the La Porte factory – which supplies ARC’s North American customer base – continues ongoing commitment by ARC to the US market. ARC has invested over $100 million in refurbishing and extending the La Porte plant over the last 18 years.

Renaat Demeulemeester, President at American RENOLIT Corporation said: “This project strengthens our commitment within the La Porte community and to the North American calendered film business. The additional facilities will allow us to meet the growing needs of our existing customers, and to develop new markets and applications.”

The first production trials starts by the End Of 2018.
