SIMONA AMERICA Group, a leading supplier of thermoplastic semi-finished parts, has announced a major expansion of its facility in Archbald, Pennsylvania.

The expansion will add more than 80,000 square feet to the existing facility, incorporating state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, including new sheet extrusion lines, weld rod production, and fabrication capabilities. These upgrades will enable SIMONA AMERICA Industries (SAI) to expand its product portfolio and better serve a wide range of industries, including chemical processing, semiconductor equipment manufacturing, outdoor living, food and beverage processing, marine, playgrounds, bathroom partitions, retail displays, signage, and medical orthotics and prosthetics.

Strategically located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, SAI benefits from direct rail access and proximity to some of the nation’s most efficient interstate highway systems, supporting streamlined logistics and distribution. The expansion not only positions SAI for long-term growth but also reinforces its ongoing commitment to the region, Lackawanna County, and the Scranton-Archbald community.

As part of this initiative, the company will launch a recruitment campaign to hire more than 25 skilled professionals in manufacturing, shipping, and logistics—contributing to local job creation and economic development.
