Interplast stands as the premier trade show in the plastic sector, uniquely encompassing the entire production chain of plastic products. This comprehensive event covers everything from raw materials to finished goods, including stages such as design, prototyping, mold construction, injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, cutting and welding, printing, thermoforming, recycling, peripherals, and packaging. This extensive scope attracts a diverse audience from across the industry, facilitating substantial business transactions and ensuring the event's success over its ten editions.
A significant advantage of Interplast is its strategic location in the Southern Region of Brazil, the country's second-largest hub for plastic transformation, accounting for over 30% of the national production volume. Specifically, Santa Catarina contributes 16% of Brazil's total. Joinville, the host city, is home to some of the largest Brazilian manufacturers of plastic products, making it a critical market for the sector. Interplast is widely recognized as the most important annual event in the industry. In its last edition, the trade show drew visitors from 24 Brazilian states, with a notable contingent from São Paulo, as well as participants from 12 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
