Plast 2026, scheduled for 9 to 12 June 2026 at Fiera Milano, becomes part of MaTec , the new trade fair project that brings together three events dedicated to manufacturing: Plast (plastics and rubber), Xylexpo (wood and furniture technologies) and Composites Future (composite materials) .
The goal is to bring together cross-disciplinary skills and complementary sectors for an integrated vision of the industry.
In a context where the European manufacturing industry is called upon to respond to challenges such as sustainability, energy efficiency, digitalization, and new materials regulations, MaTec offers an integrated platform: eight pavilions, three complementary fairs, a place for discussion for the entire supply chain.
The underlying idea behind MaTec is that many technologies developed for one sector can be applied in other fields, such as wood, plastics, composites, and their uses in construction, furniture, packaging, automotive, aerospace, and marine. The "triple understanding" between Plast, Xylexpo, and Composites Future thus becomes a hub for innovation and an accelerator of synergies.
Within MaTec, Plast occupies six pavilions and currently has around 800 registered companies.
Its offer is completed by three satellite salons:
- Rubber , dedicated to the world of rubber and related technologies;
- 3D Plast , focused on 3D printing and additive technologies for polymers;
- PlastMat , focusing on innovations in materials, a key theme for the future of manufacturing.
For exhibitors, MaTec represents a strategic investment: it allows them to reach a large and qualified audience, generate new contacts and strengthen their positioning.
3D Plast, focused on 3D printing and additive technologies for polymers;
For visitors, it means accessing expertise, technologies, and solutions from three complementary sectors in one place, with the opportunity to update themselves, engage with experts, and build partnerships.
The next event is in Milan, from 9 to 12 June 2026, for an event that promises to become one of the most significant events of the year for the European manufacturing industry.
